Edpuzzle - Heroes
This link goes to a video that shows a inspiring famous football player named Malcolm Mitchell that was invited to join a book club so he did and found a loving passion for reading. He loved reading so much that he would read a book anytime he would have a chance to. He also became an Arthur and wrote a book called The Magician's Hat. I really think his achievements in reading and writing a book changed his life because now he doesn't need to think about his struggle for reading and that he has achieved more than one thing in his life including football and writing books.
Any Similar Experiences?
- The first time I saw a beautiful painting or a drawing I thought "wow I will never be able to do an amazing thing like that". Ever since then I never really focused on art because I thought I wouldn't be able to do it, until one day I was bored so I decided to try drawing. My first idea was to draw a rose and the ending result made me proud of myself for my first attempt in trying to actually draw. 😊I showed my mom and she went to go post it on Facebook lol. Now I have a passion for art and I love it. Remember to never doubt yourself and that you can do anything.
This second link goes to a video that shows a 4 year old boy from Alabama named Austin that buys food for the homeless because he thought it was the right thing to do. Austin first watched a show about pandas with his dad that showed a mommy panda abandoning her child that was now homeless. So he asked his dad if some humans are homeless too. He understood that a lot of people have no homes and some are even hungry and don't have money to buy food. He used all of his allowance to buy food for the homeless. "Everyone who meets Austin leaves with hope."
Reflection
- While watching this video my heart warmed to see a sweet 4 year boy buying and wanting to feed food to the homeless. Which I think is a very wonderful act of kindness to do at a young age that most people don't have the right mind to do. This makes anyone feel the necessity to lend a helping hand to someone in need in this world and feel so obliging and accomplished after doing so.
